Join us for our November CBW+ Speaker Series presented by Conrad Siegel, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, UPMC and Women Involved of The Salvation Army Harrisburg.
The November CBW+ Speaker Series will feature Toni Lynn Mark, Resource Development Director at The Salvation Army Harrisburg.
Work-life Balance: A refreshing approach to keeping it all together
Working women often carry heavy loads, juggling responsibilities at home and at work — and rarely feel like they can pass any of them off. Many hide their struggles, pretending they have it all together, while inside they feel exhausted, guilty, and like they’re failing everyone. Society doesn’t help, promoting the myth that balance is possible if we just “say no sometimes” or “figure it out” (after all, everyone on social media seems to be nailing it, right?).
This talk reveals the truth: peaceful balance often feels impossible. Along the way, we will be authentic, laugh and explore how embracing imperfection can help us approach life’s pressures with grace, find real peace, and become more compassionate colleagues and leaders.
