The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra is proud to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary with free summer concerts over the July 4th holiday weekend. Created and directed by our Tony award-winning Music Director Stuart Malina and performed by our fully professional orchestra, the concerts are a who’s who of patriotic and American music composers and titles.
To honor our nation’s history, we’ll perform the Armed Forces Salute, God Bless America, and John Phillip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever. We celebrate distinguished American composers Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, and John Williams with Fanfare for the Common Man, Candide Overture, and E.T.: Adventures on Earth. All these and more will be part of a thrilling tribute to America.
Free, outdoors, and under the stars, in Central PA! Come spend time on this historic holiday weekend with your Harrisburg Symphony!
