With new hybrid and virtual workplace environments, mentoring relationships are needed now more than ever!

In this workshop, learn how to find and use a mentor who will help you achieve your professional goals.

With a focus on refining career goals, communicating your desire for a mentor and effectively using a mentor to help you get to the next level in your career, this workshop will provide strategies for developing a powerful  mentoring relationship.

ALL ARE WELCOME! Chamber Business Women+ (CBW+) promotes the progression and advancement of professional women through the education and sharing of ideas and experiences. We invite everyone (of all gender identities) who supports this mission to join the events.


Meet Our Speaker

Kathleen McKenzie
Vice President, Community Affairs
Highmark Blue Shield

Kathleen oversees corporate grants, management, community programs and volunteerism for Central PA, Lehigh Valley, and Northeastern PA Highmark community efforts. She also provides oversight and support for community affairs in the State of Delaware. She is responsible for the development and execution of defined strategies and promote Highmark’s corporate Community Affairs initiatives and the coordination of strategic provider relationships. Kathleen currently serves as a board director for the Central PA Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House of the Capital Region and UW of the Capital Region. She holds various leadership roles in the community including serving on Penn State Health’s Cancer Committee and chairing the 2020 Heart Associations Heart Ball.  Kathleen was selected as a Central Penn Business Journal Woman of Influence and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber’s 2022 Athena Award recipient.
