This month's event will feature Betsy Hamm, former Duck Donuts CEO and host of the Loud & Lifted podcast.
Confident By Design is an empowering session focused on building confidence as a skill, not a personality trait. Rather than being the loudest voice in the room, confidence is about knowing your value, showing up with intention, and taking purposeful action in your career.
Through real-world stories and practical tools, Betsy breaks confidence down into small, repeatable habits that help women strengthen their mindset, expand their comfort zones, and elevate their presence at work. Attendees will walk away with actionable strategies to reframe self-doubt, practice daily confidence reps, use image and presence intentionally, and take up space without feeling fake or performative.

Betsy Hamm, MBA, is the former CEO of Duck Donuts, where she led the brand’s expansion from 20 locations in 2016 to nearly 200 by 2025. Under her leadership, the company grew across the United States and expanded internationally into nine countries, including locations in the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Asia. Before serving as CEO, Betsy held key roles at Duck Donuts, including Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing. She brought more than 15 years of marketing and leadership experience, including serving as Marketing Director for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, a premier hospitality company known for its iconic attractions, resorts, and venues in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
In her latest venture, Betsy Hamm Lifted Studio, she partners with founders and executives to accelerate growth, streamline operations, and build strong, scalable brands and leadership teams. Betsy also hosts Loud & Lifted, a women-in-leadership podcast blending real talk with practical tools on confidence, executive presence, and career growth. She serves on the board of Central Penn
College and holds a B.A. in Communications and an MBA from Shippensburg University.
2026 Charity of Choice
Bethany House supports young women ages 18 to 24 who are aging out of foster care or at risk of homelessness through transitional housing and individualized case management. The Residential Program provides safe, subsidized communal housing where residents have private rooms and shared living spaces. Through its Resource Center, Bethany House also serves individuals who do not qualify for residential services or are on the waitlist. The organization helps remove barriers to stability by assisting with transportation, medical care, and access to food and housing resources. Bethany House also connects residents and clients to free mental health counseling to support healing and long-term success.
