About our Host
At F&M Trust, we don’t just say that we’ve got a passion for helping our customers, we prove it daily. And as a true part of our community, we recognize that finances are just part of the big picture. More important are the dreams, hopes and aspirations of our neighbors and friends. When we invest in those dreams, we help build a thriving local economy that benefits us all. So our employees spend over 2100 hours annually volunteering at community events and serving on boards and committees with various non-profit organizations.
Since 1906, we’ve been committed to meeting the needs of our customers as an independent community bank. We constantly develop new technologies for easy access, while at the same time offering better safeguards to protect from the new threat of fraud.
But no matter how we continue to evolve, our focus will always be on building and protecting our customers’ wealth and maintaining long-term, loyal relationships.
Fun Facts
• We have been an independent Community Bank since 1906
• We supported over 325 organizations in 2024 through sponsorship or donation
• Our employees have volunteered over 2,000 hours in our communities
• In 2024 we opened our first Dauphin County Branch on Linglestown Road
• One of our favorite traditions is an annual all-employee event we call BanktoberFest. Employees gather all in one place for an afternoon of teamwork and community service. Past service projects have included building bikes for foster children, planting hundreds of trees, delivering truckloads of canned goods to local food pantries and assembling care packages for homeless Veterans.
Non-profit Partner
Wildheart Ministries is located in the heart of Allison Hill, an underserved neighborhood within Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The founders of Wildheart, Tannon and Cristina Herman, moved into the Allison Hill Community in the fall of 2013. After living there for a few years, getting connected with other neighbors and discovering the needs of the community, Wildheart was founded in April 2016 in an effort to promote awareness of the issues within the neighborhood and rally individuals, the public and private sectors to participate in meeting those needs. Since 2017, Wildheart has been instrumental in advancing revitalization efforts within Allison Hill by forming strategic partnerships within the community and championing the cause for transformation in the Hill.
Our mission is building bridges to transform communities. We do this through the Harrisburg Community Development Corporation to provide affordable housing, our Love the Hill projects to eliminate blight and beautify the community, and The Hill Farm to provide food security and education on healthy living. Our vision is to Rebuild, Restore & Revive the community of Allison Hill.
Fun Facts
Since 2017 Wildheart has cleaned up 3 million pounds of trash from 136 blocks within Allison Hill (impacting 2692 families, or 8890 individuals), organized 13,254 volunteers, supplied Allison Hill with thousands of pounds of fresh produce, installed 370 planter boxes, hosted 36 block parties, and given away 2124 Christmas gifts, all of which has helped to reduce crime incidents by nearly 50% in the community!
