B.A.S.H. is the Chamber & CREDC's signature monthly after-hours networking experience, bringing business professionals together for an energetic evening of connections, conversation and community.

Hosted at member locations throughout the region, each B.A.S.H. creates an opportunity to build relationships in a relaxed social setting featuring food, beverages and entertainment — while spotlighting both the host organization and a local nonprofit.

Since 1984, Ronald McDonald House Central PA has provided comfort, strength, and stability to families with children facing medical crises. Located across the street from Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital, the House provides more than 9,700 overnight stays each year, giving families a place to sleep, share a meal, and stay close to their child at no cost to them.

Ronald McDonald House Central PA is a place where care lives in the everyday moments, from a warm meal and a comfortable room to the reassurance of having family close when it matters most. Because when a child is facing a medical crisis, Family Stays.

Fun Facts: 

It all started in Pennsylvania.
The world’s first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia in 1974 after the Philadelphia Eagles, pediatric oncologist Dr. Audrey Evans, the Hill family, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and local McDonald’s Owner/Operators came together to help families stay close to their hospitalized children. Today, there are 394 Ronald McDonald House programs worldwide. Ronald McDonald House Central PA joined the movement just 10 years later, opening in Hershey in 1984.

Shamrock Shakes helped make Ronald McDonald House history.
Early fundraising tied to McDonald’s Shamrock Shakes helped support the opening of the first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. Today, the annual Shamrock Shake season continues to support Ronald McDonald House programs and families.

We’re more than a House.
Ronald McDonald House Central PA supports families beyond our 36-room House in Hershey. Our programs also include the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital, Hospitality Kiosks at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital and at UPMC Harrisburg, and Cart with a Heart at UPMC Harrisburg, bringing comfort and support closer to families right where they are.
