Join the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC as we hear an update on the state budget from Pennsylvania Senator Patty Kim of the 15th Senatorial District. Senator Kim will give attendees a look into where the 2025-26 Pennsylvania Budget currently stands, and what we can expect in the next few weeks. Senator Kim will also answer questions from attendees.

About Our Speaker

Elected to the State Senate in 2024, Kim brings extensive legislative experience from a decade of service in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where she represented the 103rd District from 2013 to 2024.

In the House of Representatives, Kim served as the Chair of the House Insurance Committee and was previously Chair of the Aging and Older Adult Services Committee, which made her the first Asian American to serve as Chair of a PA House Committee. She is also credited with creating and serving as the first Chair of the PA Legislative Asian Pacific American Caucus. She ahs previously served on the Appropriations, Education, Insurance, and Local Government committees. She is a member of the United Way of the Capital Region Board of Directors. Prior to her work in the legislature, Kim was elected to Harrisburg's City Council where she served two terms. She was elected as council Vice President by her colleagues during her second term.
