HARRISBURG, Pa. – Tri County Community Action (TCCA) will host the 2nd annual Mothers & Families Brunch and Silent Auction on Thursday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at the West Shore Country Club, 100 Brentwater Road, Camp Hill. The event will feature a brunch complete with champagne toast, a silent auction of unique items, and stories of resilience from mothers and families working alongside TCCA staff to move out of poverty. “Every day, we see individuals and families who are struggling to escape the cycle of poverty,” said Jennifer Wintermyer, chief executive officer of TCCA. “This event is an opportunity to honor and celebrate the strength and resolve of mothers who are working to create a brighter, more hopeful future for their families.” Proceeds from the event benefit TCCA programs and services designed to help people achieve self-sufficiency and build stronger families. Last year, TCCA assisted more than 48,000 people in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties. Tickets are $75 each or $550 for a table of eight.
