Health Care Career Night brings together health care departments and local colleges and universities to create an opportunity for high school students and their families to not only learn about roles in health care but discover what training or skills are needed to embark on those careers.

Health care is one of the fastest growing employment sectors in the United States. Careers can range from direct patient care, like nursing or therapy, to behind-the-scenes work in a laboratory or pharmacy, to non-clinical positions in support services and professional or administrative areas. Attendees can meet UPMC health care professionals, ask questions, learn about UPMC’s career paths and student education benefits and experience hands-on activities.
