Associate Media Strategist
We are seeking a motivated Associate Media Strategist to support public media underwriting and sponsorship efforts across a 19-county area. This role is vital to building relationships with businesses and organizations by identifying advertising opportunities, making outbound sales calls, creating prospect lists, and scheduling meetings with new prospects. Success in this role will require strong sales acumen, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Initiate outbound calls using preselected lists to engage current and potential sponsors, with a focus on building awareness of current opportunities.
- Communicate targeted campaigns and sponsorship opportunities designed to increase support and align with clients' objectives.
- Apply knowledge of public media products to provide solutions that enhance customers’ reach and brand visibility.
- Adhere to ethical practices by respecting do-not-call lists and ensuring communications remain professional and well-received.
Customer Service:
- Update customer and account information as needed to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Process incoming correspondence and documentation from clients, ensuring timely entry into proprietary systems.
- Maintain acceptable production and accuracy levels while meeting deadlines.
Communication & Teamwork:
- Follow up on lapsed clients to renew or enhance agreements.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and media landscape trends to offer informed solutions to customers.
- Provide courteous and efficient service to all clients and prospects.
- Schedule prospect meetings for Outside Sales Representatives when applicable.
