Education Program Coordinator

Bring Learning to Life. Amplify Youth Voices.

Are you a creative educator who wants to share your love of learning outside of the traditional classroom? Pennon Education is looking for an Education Program Coordinator to join our team and help deliver innovative, high-impact educational experiences to students and teachers across Central Pa.

In this role, you'll split your time between hands-on classroom instruction and leading a dynamic youth media initiative — giving you the chance to shape student learning experiences in unique, powerful, and lasting ways.

What You'll Do

Explore in the Classroom Support classrooms in school districts facing persistent opportunity gaps. Co-teach, model instruction, and design lessons spanning STEM, literacy, social studies, media creation, and career exploration.

Youth Voice Imperative Serve as program lead for our youth digital media initiative, guiding students through podcasting and short-form video production centered on Pennsylvania history, STEM, and life lessons. Recruit creators, manage partnerships, and lead our Creator Academy — a week long production and leadership experience for 10–15 selected students.

Community Education Programs Help bring Kids Night Out, Summer and Day Camps, Public Media Center field trips, and other family engagement events to life.

Professional Contributions Support grant proposals, contribute to marketing storytelling, and represent Pennon Education at conferences and community events.
