Volunteer Board Member – Dauphin County CASA

Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is seeking engaged, community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors.

CASA’s mission is to recruit, train, and support volunteers to advocate for children in foster care who have experienced abuse and neglect. Board members play a critical role in advancing this mission by providing strategic leadership, supporting organizational sustainability, and serving as ambassadors within the community.

We are currently seeking individuals with experience or interest in areas such as finance, events, resource development, governance, and human resources. We also welcome individuals who are interested in gaining board experience and are committed to active engagement and meaningful service.

Board members are expected to:

  • Support the mission and strategic direction of the organization
  • Participate in board meetings and organizational events
  • Contribute personally and/or support fundraising and resource development efforts
  • Serve as ambassadors for CASA within the community

This is a volunteer leadership opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in foster care.

We are currently onboarding a limited number of new board members and are taking a thoughtful, relationship-based approach to recruitment.

Individuals interested in learning more are encouraged to connect directly for a conversation.
