Boyer & Ritter CEO emeritus Robert J. Murphy among Central Penn Business Journal’s list of regional financial power players
CAMP HILL, PA – Central Penn Business Journal has named Boyer & Ritter Principal and CEO emeritus Robert J. Murphy among the top leaders in its 2024 Banking, Finance, Accounting and Wealth Management Power List.
“This group is composed of the area’s most significant, influential, and respected leaders – as well as behind-the-scenes change-makers -- in their field,’’ said CPBJ’s Assistant Editor Ioannis Pashakis. “The honorees are chosen by our editorial leadership team – with some help from readers and others for input and perspective.”
Earlier this year, CPBJ named Murphy among central Pennsylvania’s “Top 100 People for 2024” and as a 2024 Icon Honors recipient, recognizing individuals who have left a mark in their fields.
Murphy joined Boyer & Ritter in 1980 and served as the firm's CEO for 15 years before stepping down in June. During his tenure, Murphy boosted the firm to national recognition.
CPBJ will announce all the individuals selected for the 2024 Banking, Finance, Accounting and Wealth Management Power List in a special section in print and online at www.cpbj.com on August 16.
“I am deeply honored that CPBJ included me on their list of industry leaders,’’ Murphy said. "This recognition is also a testament to the collective effort of Boyer & Ritter’s talented team.”
