CAMP HILL, PA (Wednesday, April 1, 2026) – The Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA) named Boyer & Ritter Director Mark Banks, among its “2026 Young Leader” award recipients.

“The PICPA annually recognizes its members under the age of 40 who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession through the PICPA or community service,” the organization said of the recognition. “In addition to climbing the ranks quickly at their organizations, past winners have gone on to serve as PICPA leadership, committee chairs, and conference speakers.”

Banks joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018 and heads the firm’s System and Organization Controls (SOC) services group, which conducts specialized audits of a company’s policies, procedures, internal controls, and information technology. In addition to being a CPA, Banks is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF).

Beyond the office, Banks serves on several community boards and committees, including the board of The Harrisburg Singers, a choral ensemble that has performed at the U.S. Naval Academy, the White House and other notable East Coast venues.

Banks earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Penn State Altoona in 2014 and a Master of Accountancy in 2015 from the university’s Smeal College of Business.
