Boyer & Ritter’s Mark Banks among Central Penn Business Journal’s 2025 Forty under 40 list of leading professionals
CAMP HILL, PA – Mark Banks, who directs Boyer & Ritter’s System and Organization Controls (SOC) services group, was recognized by the Central Penn Business Journal as among the region’s leading 40 professionals 40 years of age and younger.
“The 2025 Forty Under 40 honorees are high-achieving young professionals who give back to the community in exceptional ways. They have demonstrated significant career success but also know that making a difference in the lives of others is essential,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Central Penn Business Journal. “They are the next generation of leaders in Central Pennsylvania, and we are pleased to recognize their accomplishments.”
Banks, CPA, CFE, MAFF, joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018 and was recently promoted to Director. He is also a key member of the firm’s Advisory Services group. Banks earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting from Pennsylvania State University in 2014 and a Master of Accountancy in 2015 from the university’s Smeal College of Business.
“By sharing our experiences and offering guidance, we not only celebrate our own achievements but also help pave the way for the next generation’s success,’’ Banks said. “Appreciate the small victories in life, recognize the rewards, and pay it forward — so that others may also reap what you sow.”
An avid bowler, Banks volunteers with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Youth League, sharing not only his love for the sport but mentoring the young players and helping them obtain educational scholarships. Banks is also a music enthusiast and serves on the board of The Harrisburg Singers, one of Central Pennsylvania’s leading choral ensembles.
“We are incredibly proud of Mark for being recognized among Central Penn Business Journal’s list of leading professionals under 40,’’ said Boyer & Ritter Managing Partner Lisa Myers. “Mark’s recognition is a well-deserved testament to both his professional excellence and his bright future in the accounting field.”
Fischer-Huettner said the honorees were selected by a panel of previous recipients and the Central Penn Business Journal's leadership team, based on their professional accomplishments and community service.
Central Penn Business Journal will honor the winners at a celebration starting at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the Hilton Harrisburg. Awards begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dessert, drinks, and networking. Event hashtag: #CPBJevents.
Winners will be profiled in a magazine that will be inserted into the Nov. 7 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal and will be available online at CPBJ.com.
