Brown Plus Announces Team Member Promotions in 2024

Leading accounting and advisory firm, Brown Plus, announces the following team member promotions across Pennsylvania and Maryland, effective January 1, 2024:

Abbigail Cawood, CB, was promoted from Outsourced Accounting Manager to Outsourced Accounting Senior Manager. She has 13 years of accounting experience and is a certified bookkeeper and certified in QuickBooks®. Abbie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Millersville University. She is located at the Brown Plus office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Ryan Grigg, CPA, MBA, was promoted from Audit Manager to Audit Senior Manager. He has nine years of experience in public accounting and government financial management. Ryan received Bachelor of Science degrees in both Accounting and Management Information Systems from Shippensburg University, as well as his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Karen MacDonald was promoted from Outsourced Accounting Manager to Outsourced Accounting Senior Manager. She has over 20 years of experience providing payroll and bookkeeping services and is a QuickBooks® Pro-Advisor. Karen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Messiah College. She is located at the Brown Plus office in Westminster, Maryland.

Jack McCracken, CPA, was promoted from Audit Manager to Audit Senior Manager. He has over nine years of experience and specializes in providing attest services. Jack graduated from Grove City College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is located at the Brown Plus office in Westminster, Maryland.

Kim Yordy, CPA, was promoted from Audit Manager to Audit Senior Manager. She has over 12 years of public accounting experience. Kim received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Grace College. She is located at the Brown Plus office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Alexander Craver, CPA, was promoted from Audit Supervisor to Audit Manager. Alex has over nine years of experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Messiah University. Alex is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Monica Martin, CPA, was promoted from Audit Supervisor to Audit Manager. She has over five years of experience providing public accounting services. Monica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. She is located at the Brown Plus office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Courtney Catlin, CPA, was promoted from Tax Senior Associate to Tax Supervisor. She has three years of experience. Courtney has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Messiah College. She is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Natalie Ciepiela was promoted from Tax Senior Associate to Tax Supervisor. She has over two years of experience. Natalie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in international business from Grove City College. She is located at the Brown Plus office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Erik Peachey, CPA, was promoted from Audit Senior Associate to Audit Supervisor. He has over three years of public accounting experience. Erik earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Eastern Mennonite University and his Master of Science degree in Accounting from James Madison University. He is located at the Brown Plus office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Nathan Bashore, CPA, was promoted from Audit Associate to Audit Senior Associate and has over one year of experience. He graduated the Integrated Master of Accounting program with both his master's degree and bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University. Nate is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Andrew Kimbrell was promoted from Audit Associate to Audit Senior Associate and has over one year of experience. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in Business Administration and Accounting. He is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Aspen Longhurst, CPA, MAcc, was promoted from Tax Associate to Tax Senior Associate. She received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree from Southern Utah University. Aspen is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Amber Miller was promoted from Audit Associate to Audit Senior Associate. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Messiah University in Pennsylvania. Amber is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
