Capital Blue Cross employees raise more than $475,000 for the United Way
Capital Blue Cross employees raised more than $475,000 through its 2026 United Way campaign, continuing the organization’s standing as one of the top fundraisers for the United Way of the Capital Region.
Funds raised by employees will support both the United Way of the Capital Region and the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
“Community impact is an important part of who we are at Capital Blue Cross,” said Vicki Doulé, Vice President of Community Impact and Market Development at Capital Blue Cross. “Our employees demonstrate that commitment in many ways, and their generosity and continued support of the United Way are great examples of how they make a difference in the communities we serve.”
In addition to their individual contributions, Capital employees supported the campaign through several fundraisers, including a digital talent show, a soccer-style shootout competition, a mum sale, and silent auction.
In the past five years, Capital employees have raised more than $2.6 million through its annual United Way campaigns.
Capital employees also demonstrate their commitment to the United Way by giving their time through various volunteer opportunities throughout the year including Day of Caring. Several employees also volunteer on United Way boards and committees.
