For the eighth straight year, Capital Blue Cross has been honored as one of the “Best Places to Work in PA,” extending a streak that started in 2018.

The health insurer was among only 38 companies to make the large-employer list, which encompasses businesses with 250 or more employees.

“The Best Places to Work distinction is especially meaningful because it reflects the sentiments of our employees,” said Capital Blue Cross President and CEO Todd Shamash. “Their honest, anonymous feedback determines whether Capital makes the cut, and to be on the list for eight years straight speaks volumes about the commitment and care our employees show every day.”

Capital continually looks at ways to enhance the employee experience, including flexible work schedules that support employees’ personal and family needs, paid time off for community volunteering, and employee resources groups that foster engagement and connection.
