Central Penn College Dental Programs Earn Statewide Award

ENOLA, Pa. – (November 18, 2025) Central Penn College’s growing dental programs have won the “Oral Health Changemaker Award” from the PA Coalition for Oral Health (PCOH).

Program leaders Ann Hoffman and Alexis DeLaughter said they were excited and thrilled to receive the honor, which was awarded on the weekend of Nov. 12-13 at the Central Hotel Best Western in Harrisburg.

The coalition who presented the award to Central Penn College is comprised of a diverse group of leaders from across the state from schools of public health, philanthropic organizations, businesses, dental organizations, health insurance firms, advocacy organizations, state agencies, and other champions.

The award was presented in front of more than 130 attendees, 63 dental providers and 30 counties, saluting the college’s forward-thinking efforts to help address workforce shortages in the dental field and improve access to care.

Central Penn reminds interested students that these dental programs fill up fast, so applications should be sent in now to centralpenn.edu, for programs that begin Jan. 5.
