September 30, 2025 – Harrisburg, Pa. – Harrisburg Regional Chamber members are invited to attend the Pennsylvania National Horse Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, taking place October 9 through 19. Members can enjoy evenings of thrilling sport, expert horsemanship and fun for the whole family.

Every October, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show brings over 20,000 spectators, competitors, vendors and more to the city of Harrisburg. While past years have shown the horse show has an estimated economic impact of over $11 million annually, this year the show aims to top that number. In an effort to ensure that the local community benefits from the influx of people, the horse show has partnered with local restaurants, hotels and more. Now, the show is inviting the local business community to enjoy the entertainment that brings in such an influx of tourists to the Harrisburg area. 

Bring the family to the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex on October 11 to enjoy the free Family Fun Day from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include face painting, wagon rides, arts and crafts, goat snuggling, behind-the-scenes tours, a scavenger hunt, horse meet and greets and more – all at no cost! Enjoy the beauty and spirit of the horse with Double Dan Horsemanship on Saturday, October 18. One of the largest indoor horse shows in the United States, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show has run every October since 1946. This year, the show will take place from October 9 through 19. Today, funds from the horse show fuel the PNHS Foundation, which awards annual grants to equine rescues and therapeutic riding programs.
