Families Go M.A.D. Volunteering Program
Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend time with your kids or grandkids? Join us for Families Go M.A.D. (Make a Difference)—a monthly volunteer event designed for a multi-generational experience!
Here are the details:
- This hands-on program gives families the opportunity to work together on simple service projects that benefit our community. Examples of activities include packing care kits, sorting supplies, or re-packaging items into smaller quantities.
- The benefit? It’s a great way to teach compassion, build memories, and show young ones the power of giving back.
- The program takes place the first Wednesday of every month from 6–7pm at The Salvation Army Harrisburg, 506 S. 29th Street, Harrisburg.
- Space is limited, and the sign-up sheet is here: https://bit.ly/TSAfamiliesgomad
- Come make a difference—together!
Families Go M.A.D. is coordinated by Lily Markley, our new Community Engagement Coordinator. You can reach out to her directly about this or other volunteering opportunities at Lily.Markley@use.salvationarmy.org.
