Fred Gard Named Partner at Conrad Siegel 

Harrisburg, PA – July 22, 2024 – Conrad Siegel, delivering comprehensive employee benefits and investment advisory consulting recently announced that Fred Gard, ASA, MAAA, has been appointed a partner at the firm. 

Gard, a Consulting Actuary, works within the firm’s Health & Welfare division that provides consulting services for employers’ health benefit plans. He specializes in working with self-funded health and welfare benefit plans – primarily working with Pennsylvania school district trusts and large private sector employers.

Most recently, Gard has played a key role in onboarding new clients, primarily in the public sector where the firm provides consulting services for over 150 school districts in Pennsylvania. He has also assisted with developing the firm’s Affordable Care Act reporting processes. 

Prior to his work in healthcare, Gard worked on corporate defined benefit plans for Conrad Siegel. He joined the firm in 2016, after graduating with a degree in mathematics, summa cum laude with distinction, from Syracuse University. 

Gard has since earned some of the industry’s leading credentials. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
