GK Visual Marks 20 Years of Creative Storytelling

GK Visual, an award-winning video production and storytelling studio headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is proud to mark its 20th anniversary. Since its founding in 2005 by filmmaker and creative director Nate Kresge, GK Visual has grown from a small local shop into a nationally recognized creative agency known for cinematic storytelling, emotional resonance, and impactful results.

Over the past two decades, GK Visual has partnered with clients across the country—and beyond—to create visual stories that inform, inspire, and engage. Their work spans commercial, documentary, and political media, with clients ranging from local nonprofits to major corporations and campaigns.

A Legacy Built on People + Story

“Long before ‘storytelling’ was a buzzword, we believed in it,” said Nate Kresge, Founder & Executive Producer. “From our very first projects through today’s most ambitious campaigns, our mission has been consistent: use art, emotion, and narrative to move audiences. This milestone is a tribute not just to our work, but to every client, collaborator, and the incredible team behind it.”

GK Visual’s client roster includes Bethesda Mission, American Music Theater, The Hershey Company, Member’s 1st Credit Union, Goodwill, Renewal by Andersen, Liberty Coca-Cola, and many more. In the political arena, GK Visual has worked with campaigns at all levels—from local school board races to presidential campaigns. These political projects have taken the team to every corner of Pennsylvania and throughout the United States.

Award-Winning Craft + The Team Behind It

GK Visual’s work has received regional Emmy nominations, Ascot Awards, Telly Awards, and many other industry awards including honors at film festivals for excellence in direction, cinematography, and editing. Their signature blend of cinematic style and authenticity has made them a trusted creative partner across industries.

The heart of GK Visual is its people. In addition to Nate Kresge (Founder | Director of Photography | Executive Producer), the core team includes:

  • Doug Metz — Co-Owner & Head of Post Production
  • Nick Chohany — Chief Editor
  • Sean Purcell — Editor & Motion Graphics Artist
  • Tom Kristich — Sales & Marketing Manager
  • Kelyn Woodard — Photographer & Social Media Manager

Each member brings their own creative expertise, dedication, and passion to every project—whether commercial, documentary, or political.

GK Visual also produces original documentary films such as Poured in Pennsylvania, exploring the state’s craft beer movement, and the upcoming Pennsylvania’s Pioneering Spirit, a story of the heritage and resurgence of Pennsylvania rye whiskey.
