Harrisburg University Class of 2025: Who Are We?
HARRISBURG, PA — On the evening of May 8, 2025, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) honored the Class of 2025 at its 18th Commencement Ceremony. More than 1,500 friends, family members, and leaders from the community joined us at The Forum in downtown Harrisburg to celebrate the accomplishments of more than 1,080 bachelors, masters, and doctors of science, philosophy, and technology.
This is one of the best days of the year – and an excellent opportunity to evaluate how well our university is living up to its founding mission.
Graduates, Leaders, and Trailblazers
Part of Harrisburg University’s founding mission is to create an environment of STEM-focused higher learning that reflects current workforce needs and the demographic realities in Central Pennsylvania. HU is proud to stand on a foundation of diversity, equity, and inclusion; its student body closely resembles the diverse makeup of the greater Harrisburg area, and its academic programs mirror both the working environments and the interdisciplinary, collaborative nature of the real-world workforce.

HU is proud to share that our Class of 2024 Career Outcome Success Rate is 96% – a 3% increase from the Class of 2023, which was an already impressive 93%. This figure represents the population of students doing one of the following within six months of graduating from HU:

Serve in the US Armed Forces
Pennsylvania’s Capital for STEM Access and Innovation
Many of HU’s degree programs offer convenient, asynchronous schedules. Learning is a lifelong endeavor, and HU welcomes degree seekers of all ages, from all walks of life. The great diversity of lived experiences on our campus only strengthens and enriches our entire university community.
Moreover, with small class sizes taught by thought leaders in their respective fields, HU students receive unparalleled one-on-one interaction with professors who guide them to success. Whether it’s graduate school or the workforce, HU students are sought after because of the hands-on experience and expertise they possess when they graduate.
On behalf of our faculty, staff, and extended university family, we extend a heartfelt congratulations to this year’s graduates. We can’t wait to see where your dreams and degrees take you!
