Inaugural Golf Outing for Central Penn College Student-Athletes to be Held Sept. 27 at Mayapple Golf Club

Central Penn College is excited to announce the first-ever Central Penn College Athletics Golf Outing, a golf tournament dedicated to helping student-athletes.

This day of sun, fun and camaraderie will take place on Friday, September 27 at the picturesque Mayapple Golf Club in Carlisle.

The outing promises an impactful time of friendly competition, networking opportunities, delicious food, and awards, beginning with a 9 am shotgun start on Sept. 27. Flights are based on the number of players, and prizes will be awarded for the best scores in each flight.

“We are thrilled to host this inaugural event and bring the community together to support our student-athletes,” said Kasey Hicks, Athletic Director at Central Penn College. “The golf outing will be a fun-filled day for golfers of all skill levels, and proceeds will directly benefit our athletic programs, providing valuable resources for our dedicated students.”

To build your brand and network with area leaders, sponsors are being sought at various levels. Non-golfing sponsorships are available, along with a range of golfing packages that include player registration, breakfast, lunch, and other benefits.

Individual golfers and teams are encouraged to register online at centralpenn.edu/knightsgolf.

Central Penn College Athletics gives talented area athletes the opportunity to continue to play at the college level. It also offers the community free games to watch on City Island and at other convenient venues.  Knights players have also hosted training camps for area children who are just learning the fundamentals, and have undertaken service projects, including cancer fundraisers, sneaker collections, pet rescue support, and other causes to give back to the community.
