Upcoming panel discussion presented by Breakthrough T1D
Type 1 diabetes does not stop at the office door. Every workday includes constant, invisible decisions about blood sugar, insulin, and energy — decisions that can affect focus, attendance, and performance in ways coworkers and employers rarely see. This panel brings together three perspectives: an employee living with type 1 diabetes who manages it daily on the job, a corporate executive whose child has T1D, and a medical provider who treats patients with T1D and lives with the condition herself. Attendees will leave with practical steps to build a more supportive workplace — good for people, and good for business.
WHY IT MATTERS FOR EMPLOYERS: Understand what employees with T1D navigate daily, learn low-cost ways to build a more supportive workplace, and see how employee wellbeing connects to retention and culture. Presented in partnership with Breakthrough T1D
