WITF Welcomes Cassie Farrelly as Chief Impact Officer

Today, WITF, Inc. announced that Cassie Farrelly, MPhil, MPA, has become its senior vice president and chief impact officer. In her new role, Farrelly will oversee audience development, community engagement and product development.


Farrelly, who is a native of Lock Haven, Pennsylvaniahas 25 years of experience leading strategy, operations, and program development with a variety of public service and non-profit organizations. Farrelly previously held leadership positions at the Penn State University College of Medicinewhere she was appointed their first Chief Operating Officer, the British Consulate General in New York, and the Chancellor’s Office of the New York City Department of Education. 


A longtime supporter of community development and programming, Farrelly served as chairperson of the board of directors for New York City’s Origin Theatre Company for several years. Farrelly is a graduate of Fordham University and Penn State University and was a Senator George J. Mitchell scholar at Trinity College Dublin where her published research examined immigration in the European Union.  


More recently, she was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a program by the presidential centers of George W. Bush, William J. Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Lyndon B. Johnson that brings together leaders from the non-profit, military, public, and private sectors to learn first-hand from presidential case studies and administrations. Her project in this program focused on providing affordable banking access and financial literacy training to unbanked and underserved households.
